چکیده
Stenosis of the subclavian artery, before the left internal mammary artery branch, is an important problem for patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass grafting, with an incidence rate of 0.5-1.1%. In this paper, a case of left subclavian artery stenosis, which developed after coronary artery bypass surgery and led to recurrent anginal attacks in the patient, is presented.

Left Carotid-to-Subclavian Artery Bypass Grafting for Recurrent Angina Caused by Coronary-Subclavian Steal Syndrome
A 60-year-old man visited the outpatient clinic due to one month of recurrent exertional chest pain. Eleven years earlier he had undergone off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting using bilateral internal thoracic artery (ITA) Y-composite grafts based on the left ITA. Preoperative coronary angiography showed patent distal graft anastomoses and visualized the left ITA retrogradely. The arch aort...

A 75-year-old man was transferred to our department from the local hospital because of recurrent episodes of dyspnea and angina at rest, with significant 3.0-mV STsegment depressions in ECG leads V3 through V6. His medical history was significant for coronary artery disease, 2-vessel coronary artery bypass grafts (1999), nondisabling stroke (2004), type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and pe...
متن کاملAnterograde flow compromise of a patent left internal mammary artery graft from a proximal subclavian artery stenosis. Myocardial ischemia not driven by the coronary-subclavian steal syndrome mechanism.
A 54-year male with previous triple vessel coronary artery and aorto-bi-femoral bypass graft surgeries complained of crescent angina. Stress induced myocardial ischemia on echocardiography was demonstrated. We performed direct stenting of a saphenous vein graft to the right coronary artery, via right radial approach. Subsequently stenting of a severe left subclavian artery proximal stenosis was...
متن کاملCoronary Subclavian Steal Syndrome: An Unusual Cause of Angina in a Post-CABG Patient
Coronary subclavian steal syndrome is a rare complication of coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (CABG) when a left internal mammary artery (LIMA) graft is utilized. This syndrome is characterized by retrograde flow from the LIMA to the left subclavian artery (SA) when a proximal left SA stenosis is present. We describe a unique case of an elderly male who underwent CABG 6 years ago who pre...
